What's in a name
Karma-K is the corporate fashion division of Karma Khameleon, a leading global digital advertising and marketing company which is a subsidiary of The pentagon Group. With a shared ethos, Karma-K is an integral part of the global revolution driving change in the corporate fashion landscape
At the core of every revolution is ACTION and CHANGE, and actioning that change. Karma, a word originating from Hinduism, acknowledges that you alone are responsible for your actions and its subsequent consequences.
Collaboration
All our designs are the result of a dynamic collaboration with the Durban University of Technology’s Faculty of Arts, which includes Visual Communication, Fashion Design, Photography, and Drama. This partnership encourages students to break free from traditional silos and work across disciplines.
In the real business world, different divisions seamlessly collaborate to create a product—so why should it be any different at the academic level? This collaboration between industry and higher education helps bridge the gap in tacit professional knowledge between novice designers and creative management in design agencies.
